Lead(h)er is the mentorship program of 900+ women fueling career and community engagement for women in the workforce. Lead(h)er gives Quad Cities area women the personal and professional tools to address systemic issues that hold women back aka the sticky floor, the broken rung, and the glass ceiling.
With a data-driven and connection-based approach, the Strike a Match mentoring program is creating new agents of social change to ensure the workplace is equitable for all. They believe that by committing to their own developmental journeys they can strengthen what they do and who they are TOGETHER in order to impact their workplace, our Quad Cities community, our world, and beyond.
How Lead(h)er Works:
Each woman is matched with a mentor, after filling out an application through their Strike a Match Program based on their role, hopes and dreams for the future. Once you’ve been matched, they request you to stay together for 18 months and meet for a minimum of one hour a month. Depending on your goals, your match might meet much more often. Because Lead(h)er is ‘build your own’ mentorship, you will have the freedom to create a successful match that grows with you.
If you meet with your mentor or mentee one hour a month for 18 months, attend three events, & continue to work towards the goals you outlined in orientation you will be honored at their annual Birthday Bash!
