Necker’s Jewelers Partners with River Bend Food Bank for March Gift Of Giving
At Necker’s Jewelers, giving back to the community is an essential part of our mission which is why we founded the Gift of Giving Program. Every month, we choose a charity to highlight and support through our donations and community engagement efforts. For March, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with the River Bend Food Bank, a local organization that has been making a significant impact in the fight against hunger in our region.
About River Bend Food Bank
The River Bend Food Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing food to those in need across 23 counties in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Serving as the largest food bank in the area, River Bend distributes millions of pounds of food every year, including fresh produce, protein, dairy, and non-perishable goods. Their work supports hundreds of partner agencies, including food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.
River Bend Food Bank’s mission goes beyond just providing food. They work to foster a community of generosity, addressing the root causes of food insecurity while also striving to make sure that everyone has access to nutritious food.
