Our Gift of Giving Charity for the month of September is the QC Marathon Charities.
The mission of the Quad Cities Marathon is to promote the sport of running by providing an annual quality marathon and affiliated running events. Their purpose is to improve the quality of life by advocating health and wellness while also giving back to various charities around the Quad Cities area.
The Quad Cities Marathon weekend offers various races including a 1 mile walk, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and the full marathon as well as relay options. This year’s big race takes place on Sunday, September 22nd with a start time of 7AM.
